A grass roots organization allowing disabled athletes in Ontario to train towards representation at the National and Olympic levels. Its aim is to send racers & support personnel to regional and national races. A division of CADS.

AMICI Camping Charity (Regional: Toronto, ON)

Established in 1966, AMICI is a volunteer organization of men and women who believe that camping contributes to the social, physical and spiritual development of youth. We are committed to helping children attend summer camp who, without AMICI’s financial assistance, would not have the opportunity to benefit from camping experience.

This organization’s goal is to introduce freestyle skiing to children and youth in the capital region, in a fun and safe environment. Their mission is to help them grow and develop in the sport while having a great time on the slopes.

Calgary Horticultural Society

Canadians Abroad

A non-profit social organization for Canadians living in the Greater Southern California area. Created as an outlet for Canadians to meet with one another on a social level, Canadians Abroad aims to keep its members in touch with “home” in the artistic, political, social, economic, technological, and scientific forums through a quarterly newsletter and via e-mail notification of events happening in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Capital City Condors (Local: Ottawa, ON)

The Capital City Condors are a family of ice hockey teams for those who are unable to play on any other hockey team due to a developmental disability. Players are ages 6 and up, of all ability levels and are each given a high degree of personal care and attention by the Condors on-ice coaches.

Chance to Play (International)

Chance to Play is a nonprofit organization providing opportunities to children and youth across Canada and communities in developing countries to engage in soccer. Impacting national and international communities through the soccer recycling program that offers environmental sustainability by collecting and redistributing gently used soccer uniforms and equipment by collaborating with soccer clubs.

CharterAbility (Regional: Oakville, ON)

A registered charity currently operating two accessible pontoon boats, within Oakville Harbour and Sixteen Mile Creek, to provide Free Boat Cruises, from an accessible dock, to disabled persons, physically, mentally or age challenged residents or visitors to Ontario.

The governing body of cricket in Canada, and affiliated with the International Cricket Council. The association is funded by memberships and donations, is the sanctioning authority for international tours, and the governing body of ladies cricket in Canada.

The largest volunteer recreation organization in North America, the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues is the umbrella organization for 142 communities and 12 districts within the City of Edmonton, Alberta.

Espoir Soccer is a nonprofit program that provides youth soccer coaching for children in low-income families, including new immigrants and refugees. It is designed to break financial barriers that restrict any child from participating in organized sports. GRDO develops and delivers recreational sport skill development programs to children who may not have had the benefit of participation in mainstream programs because of financial, cultural or social barriers.

GO Community Centre (Local: Edmonton, AB)

The GO Community Centre aims to ensure facilities are available for Albertans to participate in sport for life. They run a facility that is a national centre of excellence for both community and competitive sport.

Grand Valley Trails Association (Regional: Waterloo, ON)

The Grand Valley Trails Association is a nonprofit organization whose mandate is to build and maintain hiking trails in the Grand River Valley. As well, the association promotes outdoor activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and canoeing.

Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition

The purpose of the GVCC is to promote, and improve conditions for cycling in Greater Victoria by: improving cycling education; facilitating communication between cyclists and government; improving facilities for bicycle use; improving the legal climate for cyclists; encouraging more people to ride bicycles more often; and developing a cycling information base.

Hamilton East Kiwanis Boys’ and Girls’ Club (Local: Hamilton, ON)

A nonprofit organization running a variety of programs in the Hamilton area, including a day program for seniors and adults with physical or cognitive impairments, as well as athletic and social programs for children. They also offer a parent support group and a play centre for pre-school children.

Hoops for Kids is a not-for-profit corporation that provides financial assistance to children in Scarborough, ON so that they can compete in basketball at the highest, competitive level.

International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Canada (International: Kitchener, ON)

IMBA Canada is a national nonprofit organization that advocates for access to great trails and mountain bike opportunities. Founded internationally in 1988, and nationally in 2004, IMBA supports and represents over 35,000 cyclists globally. Their mission is to create, enhance, and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers across Canada.

International Soccer Club of Mississauga Canada (Local: Mississauga, ON)

Based in the Northwest end of Mississauga since 2008, The International Soccer Club (ISC) has been hosting over 1,400 players ages 4 to 16 every year at its Indoor and Outdoor, Recreational and Rep Programs. The ISC is a Sanctioned Youth Recreational and Competitive Club member with the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) and the Peel Halton Soccer Association (PHSA), a Not-For-Profit Corporation under the Ontario Corporations Act and a Registered Community Member with City of Mississauga.

Just4kics is a registered Canadian charity providing underprivileged youths ages 5-18 in Canada the oppournity to play an organized sport or recreational activity within their community. Just4kics pays for the child’s registration fee, equipment and in some cases, their transportation costs.

Kasuku Children’s Centre (International: Ottawa, ON)

Kasuku Children’s Centre is a Kindergarten to Grade 3 school with wrap-around support for parents (mostly teen-parents) and the only one of its kind in the area. The center has ongoing programs during the school term and holidays. The programs aim to incorporate sport as a vehicle to help bring about positive change and social cohesion in a community desperately in need of social services. This will positively influence the provision of hope, inspiration, opportunities and platforms for them to advance their ambitions and dreams.

Keep Playing Kids provides free sports programs to children in our communities. We eliminate the financial barrier, making sports accessible to everyone. We also prioritize getting all kids involved, regardless of gender or skill level.

Kids Run Wild (Local: Edmonton, AB)

Kids Run Wild is an active outdoor program designed to improve fitness, encourage confidence, and teaching navigation/route finding skills. We provide low cost programs for children ranging in age from 5 – 16 years & offer both daytime and evening options. Kids Run Wild is organized by Edmonton Overlanders Orienteering Club.
