Our organization has been collecting school supplies from Canadians and have hand-delivering them to children in the poorest villages of Southern Africa. In addition to these basic stationery items, we raise funds to allow for the administration and admittance fees of these children to be covered. Our main focus is to educate girls in villages across Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi, in particular.

This organization’s mission is to promote education in Bolivia by reducing the barriers to the access to education in this country, while at the same time promoting recycling. They help schools and children with school supplies, and provide glasses for children with poor sight. They also send volunteers from western countries to Bolivia to teach, tutor, and help the teachers with their classes.

This organization supports District School Board of Niagara students by engaging the community to provide needed funds where government funding is not available including students in financial need for basic necessities, student awards and bursaries and progressive programs and services.

Little Footprints, Big Steps (International)

Little Footprints, Big Steps was founded to aid in rescuing children from situations of abuse, slavery, homelessness or severe neglect in Haiti. Mon Sheong Foundation

The Mon Sheong Foundation is a Canadian registered charitable organization, dedicated to the promotion of Chinese culture, heritage, language and philosophy through caring for the elderly, encouraging the young and providing programs and services in response to the needs of our communities. In addition to a modern facility for seniors located in downtown Toronto, the foundation operates a successful heritage school, youth group and health centre.

The MoneyMinding Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to support financial literacy and programs which empower individuals and organizations to reach financial self-sufficiency. The foundation will provide support to individuals or organizations through investments and/or donations and will disburse grants and/or bursaries through an application process.

The National Native Foundation

The National Native Foundation was created in support of improving educational standards for First Nation youth throughout Canada. Their mission is simple: spread awareness and raise funds to provide relief of socioeconomic inequalities faced by First Nation Canadians youth, so they can find dignity, security, hope and refuge. They collect funds, books, school supplies and educational aids which we donate directly to First Nation schools in Canada.

New Relationship Trust Foundation (Regional: British Columbia)

The New Relationship Trust Foundation was created in 2011 by the New Relationship Trust (NRT) to ensure that vital First Nations scholarship and bursary programs continue in perpetuity through the establishment of an endowment. They work to assist Aboriginal peoples in BC separately and collectively to meet their education goals, and to support the educational components of Aboriginal language revitalization.

NewStart Institute (International: Ottawa, ON)

NewStart Institute is a Canadian registered charitable organization that provides free online post-secondary diploma programs for disadvantaged adults throughout the world. The diploma programs they offer are office management, accounting, and web design, with more programs in the works.

Nicaragua Children’s Foundation (International: West Vancouver, BC)

The purpose of the Nicaragua Children’s Foundation is to advance education in Nicaragua by establishing and operating schools and by providing materials, books, equipment, educational aids, resources and physical improvements to existing schools. The foundation also supports a school for disabled children, as well as other elementary schools.

Safe Drinking Water Foundation (National: Saskatoon, SK)

The foundation’s mission is to promote safe drinking water, increase awareness of health concerns, and act as a catalyst to ensure that appropriate action is taken. Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund (National: Guelph, ON)

The Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund is a registered Canadian charity that supports vocal music education in schools and communities. Since 2008, the fund has assisted Canadians of all ages by providing financial support for education in performing, staging, composing, arranging, directing, adjudicating, administrating, and leading vocal music.

Skills For Hope Foundation is a Canadian registered charity that provides free educational, vocational, entrepreneurial, literacy and language skills training programs, as well as, educational resources and post-secondary scholarships, for the disadvantaged, in Canada and other countries around the world.

Students for Education, Empowerment and Development (SEED) (International)

Students for Education, Empowerment and Development (SEED) is a Canadian- and Kenyan-registered charity initiated by a group of students in 2005. Through their scholarship program, SEED provides a bursary to about 150 primary and secondary school students in Kenya and Zambia to cover their school fees. They also operate a primary school in Nairobi, offer university scholarships, and organize an international internship each summer.

Thames Valley Education Foundation (Local: London, ON)

TVEF is a a charitable organization affiliated with the Thames Valley District School Board. The Foundation is working to build partnerships with the community that will enhance opportunties in schools and enrich public education. TVEF offers scholarships and awards, emergency relief for students in need, school supplies and funding for special programs.

Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation (UCEF) (National: Toronto, ON)

UCEF is a registered Canadian charity that supports Ukrainian Catholic education through a variety of endowments, funds, and programs including professorships, scholarships, and grants for publication of scholarly religious books, etc.

Voyages Inter-Cultures (International: Chambly, QC)

An international cooperation agency working towards reducing disparities and poverty in Honduras and Costa Rica, promoting sustainability of health, education and the environment. Volunteers are sent to work on the projects.

Westland Foundation Inc.

The main focus of the Westland Foundation is to raise funds for its Education Fund. The Education Fund finances a Scholarship Program which is used to assist Inner Winnipeg students with their first year’s tuition while attending post-secondary institutions.

Windmill Microlending (National)

Windmill Microlending is a registered charity serving newcomers since 2005. We offer affordable loans to help skilled immigrants and refugees continue their careers in Canada. Funded by the public and private sector, Windmill is Canada’s largest and most successful microlending program for immigrants and refugees.

Atlantic Youth (National: Halifax, NS)

This agency offers innovative workshops for adults and youth in schools and communities across Canada. Using meaningful games and activities to teach social development, this unique approach engages even the most resistant youth, promotes social growth and fosters creative thinking.

BLUSH: Bold Learning for Understanding Sexual Health (Regional: Vancouver, BC)
