106 Drake Sea Cadets (Local: Oshawa, ON)

The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets are a nonprofit organization funded by the Department of National Defence in partnership with the Navy League of Canada. All young adults age 12-18 are welcome to join. All equipment, uniforms and training are provided free of charge. Cadets also have the opportunity to train in one of the many Cadet Summer Training Centres for up to six weeks of paid training during the summer months. Sea Cadets take part in sailing, marksmanship, naval firefighting, marching band, seamanship, military drill team, orienteering & Geocaching. We train regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:45-9:30 from September to June.

330 Danforth Tech Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (Local: Toronto, ON)

The 330 Danforth Tech Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron offers a dynamic engaging program for youth age 12-18 in the East York community. Activities include, aviation, flying, music, sports, leadership, citizenship, and many once in a lifetime opportunities for youth.

360°kids (Regional: Richmond Hill, ON)

360°kids has been providing support services to at-risk and homeless youth in York Region for the past 27 years. Our primary focus is providing aid and support to at-risk and homeless youth. 360°kids is a one-stop agency where young people at-risk can access safe, supportive housing for the day, the night or as long as a year. We offer a full range of support services —clothing and food, personal support, outreach, counselling, life skills training, education upgrading and job searching—designed to help youth get back on their feet.

4-H British Columbia (Regional: Vernon, BC)

The 4-H program provides young people with an opportunity to learn how to become productive, self-assured adults who can make their community and country a good place in which to live. Breakfast with Santa Foundation

This organization hosts five “A Morning with Santa” Christmas Breakfasts in December reaching approximately 500 families who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience the holiday season. Their Summer Breakfast Program feeds hungry children who ordinarily depend on school breakfast programs for their daily nutrition and their “A Snack at a Time” program supplies nutritious snacks to feed children who go to school hungry or don’t bring lunch/snacks or drinks.

The British Columbia Borstal Association has concerted efforts to address trauma through the creation of the BC Trauma Care Program. Caledon Parent-Child Centre/Ontario Early Years Centre (CPCC/OEYC) (Local: Bolton, ON)

Cams Kids is a not-for-profit foundation supporting young people struggling with anxiety. Camp Jubilee

Works to provide a quality summer camp experience for all children. We find sponsorship for over 80% of the children attending our summer camp. The camp is located 30 minutes from Vancouver by boat up beautiful Indian Arm.

Camp Jumoke (National: Toronto, ON)

Camp Jumoke’s mission is to enrich the lives of children living with Sickle Cell Disease and its complications, one child at a time. Our primary mandate is to provide children with the opportunity to attend summer camp at our host camp, Camp Wenonah in beautiful Bracebridge, Ontario, for two weeks every summer; this is at little or no expense to their families.

Camp Moomba (National: Vancouver, BC)

Established in 1997, Camp Moomba is a specialized summer camp program for kids age 6 – 17 who are impacted by HIV/AIDS. Many of the children that attend Camp Moomba are confronted by similar issues in their lives, many live in difficult socio-economic situations. By coming together each year they are able to find the type of support that can only come from understanding.

Camp PEAK (Local: South River, ON)

Camp PEAK is a residential summer camp for children ages 8 – 17. Their programs focus on developing children’s health and wellness, leadership skills, social skills and self-esteem. They challenge our campers to ‘Be a better you’.

A charitable organization of volunteers who provide a one week summer camp session for children with cancer (active disease or in remission) free of charge and year-round activities free to camper and his family.

Camp Towhee (Regional: Toronto, ON)

Camp Towhee is a therapeutic residential program for children and adolescents with learning disabilities who experience social, emotional, and behavioural problems. Located on a beautiful lakefront property in Haliburton, Ontario, Camp Towhee provides the perfect environment for making new friends and experiencing success.

Camp Triumph (National: Kensington, PEI)

Camp Triumph provides a stress-free, nurturing, fun environment for children 7-17 who have a sibling or parent with a serious chronic illness or disability (example: campers may have a father with cancer or a sister with autism). Free to attend.

Camp Winston

Camp Winston operates a residential recreational summer programme for campers diagnosed with complex Tourette syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, learning disabilities and autism. Camp Winston also provides behaviour management and skills workshops and various weekend retreats.

Camrose Children’s Centre (Local: Camrose, AB)

The Camrose Children’s Centreoffers full-time and part-time day care, as well as day home care for children under 5 years of age. They also offer before and after school care for children in grade 1 to the age of 12 and a Kindergarten program each morning. The Camrose Children’s Centre aims to provide professional child care and ECS services of the highest quality.

Canada World Youth

CWY has been providing young people with exciting international educational and work placement opportunities for nearly 30 years. Programs provide young people with an opportunity to learn about other cultures and ways of life, to explore community and international development issues first hand and to acquire practical work experience. More than 1,000 young people from some 20 countries take part in our programs every year.

Regina Indian Community Awareness Inc. (Local: Regina, SK)

Established in 1985, this organization runs the Chili for Children program, which provides hot lunches three days per week to over 500 school children. They also offer basic food bank referral services to needy families, provide Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to children and their families, and are working to expand their services to other areas including parenting skills, life skills, and employment placement.

The Regina Public School program “Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPs)” is a program that is increasing community involvement in the schools. By recruiting and supporting volunteers, VIPs complements the work of staff and volunteers in building a successful learning environment.

Offering programs, ongoing support, hope, and wholeness to female youth who have been victims of sexual exploitation. We serve young women aged 16-29 with safe housing, educational support, and assistance with recovery from substance abuse to make positive life choices.

Offers inclusive educational programming for typically developing children and for children with special needs from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. Children with special needs receive programming from on-staff therapists. Tutoring and fee for service therapy available.

SCAW raises funds to provide bedkits to the neediest of children in underdeveloped and developing countries. Students Commission (The) (National)

The Students Commission is a charitable organization dedicated to creating and promoting opportunities for young people to learn and grow in a positive and safe environment.
